neta love, well done, i think its a great idea, they tried to get me to buy ones in painted shells when i got mine, but i didn't like the look of them love Good one
neta
thanks guys, we can just hope we can get our point across, i had to be careful with wording, we cant use the enforced words like will, and do, we have to use may and can etc
it can be a difficult one at times

It is fantastic neta, really captures the message,
when PAH sent me their goodwill gesture to my complaint about the whole fiasco, they sent me amongst other things 2 decent sized shells BUT they were painted one like a ladybug the other cerise pink with mirrors stuck on it!, they went in the bin, i have to admit i toyed with the idea of putting them in as i was short of shells but went and read up on them, i'm glad i decided not to
another way of forcing them into painted shells is to drug/ sedate the crabs with gas and haul them from their shell physically stuff them in the painted one and revive them with oxygen ----- its absolutely barbaric
nature provides some beautiful natural shells, there is simply no need, for one the critter doesn't benefit from them and for two they are more expensive than natural shells........ the great crab rip off!!!!

I think it hits just the right note. It gives the information needed, putting across some difficult points, without being 'preechy' or accusatory.

We have one in a painted shell, we'd been waiting for him to change, when he did i didn't like to whip it out until we knew he was happy with the new shell, we didn't want him to go shellless, anyways bugga me no sooner did he take the new shell for a test run, when another hermit came along and stole it, so now we have to wait for him to change shells Guests cannot see images in posts.
