Please Read before applying
To clarify Ab-Crabs position regarding junior members (16 and under) requesting to adopt any hermits:
We have responsibilities as forum owners to ensure our members safety and privacy, especially that of our junior members, because of this before a request is made to adopt, firstly ensure that you have your parents consent, we will ask to speak to your parents beforehand to discuss that the adoption can go ahead, this is to ensure that junior members do not meet people from the internet without a responsible adult.
This is not a judgement on how your care for your hermies, purely a precaution we have to take to guarantee the safety of the adoptee and adopter.
To enforce this we ask that all junior members seek their parents permission, and arrange for a member of the team to contact them over the phone BEFORE you apply to adopt a hermie
